Job description

Job Description for Program Manager:

  • Customer relationship management by strategic account planning, business development, and customer satisfaction.
  • In collaboration with sales and delivery teams, identify business opportunities by interacting with existing and new customers at various levels, contributing to business growth.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets per budget and business ask.
  • Map current/new customers to various business groups for account mining
  • Regular follow-up with customers on the new opportunities
  • Work on proactive business proposals along with delivery and sales
  • Preparing business case for new projects, presenting viable proposals for approval
  • Pursue with customers for approval of business proposals till PO is issued
  • Work with Talent acquisition and delivery teams for timely resource fulfillment and support onboarding of new hires
  • Interfacing with the global delivery teams to ensure quality and timely program execution.
  • In-person meetings with customers regularly and develop professional and personal relationships. Conduct and/or attend periodic cadence meetings (daily/weekly/monthly) with customers for technical and business discussions.
  • Reviewing any customer escalations and coordinating with offshore for quicker resolution
  • Provide key inputs to delivery and sales heads in preparation of customer satisfaction improvement plans, customer visits, delivery heads visits, etc.
  • Responsible for overall Project status and communications with customer managers as a Single Point of Contact
  • Project scoping and helping customers in drafting SoWs/proposals.
  • Cover Delivery visit meetings and compile and follow up actions till closure.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / master's degree in mechanical / Aeronautical engineering. An MBA degree is an added advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods with PMP or CSM certification
  • 15 plus years experience in project or program management of multidisciplinary projects in aircraft structures working with major Aircraft OEMs or Tier-1s or Engineering Services providers.
  • Position is based in Toronto Canada, and needs to travel to other locations like Calgary, Victoria etc.. for meetings with customers on a need basis.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers with experience managing large teams / complex programs
  • This job requires travels to customer sites
