Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will lead teams, optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure company goals related to quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction are achieved.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your contributions?

  • Oversees the daily operations of the assigned business unit including but not limited to production activities, budget(s), and KOI deliverables.
  • Supervises Shift Superintendents and/or Production Supervisors assigned to the shift including but not limited to planning, assigning, directing and coordinating their day-to-day activities.
  • Monitors and strives to continuously improve production efficiency, first run capability and other key division performance indicators.
  • Ensures all critical launch activities within scope of responsibility are identified, measured and completed on time.
  • Participates in APQP and PDP events, and complete tasks as required.
  • Ensures MSD's Quality System for TS 16949:2009 directives are in compliance.
  • Ensures Shift Superintendents and/or Production Supervisors are adhering to standardized work instructions, rotation schedules, and cross training is done as necessary.

Who we are looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, engineering management, business management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years (5) years of production and/or engineering experience at a manager level in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions
