The Senior Director, Head of Strategic Operations, Global Medical Affairs is responsible for cross-therapeutic area strategy and process oversight. This position supports the strategic objectives of the Global Medical Affairs function. The Senior Director, Head of Strategic Operations, Global Medical Affairs will partner across Medical Affairs therapeutic areas and regions on strategy and operational aspects of the Global Medical Affairs Function, including oversight of: Development and execution of GCSO funded medical affairs strategies including but not limited to: Selected Medical Excellence projects to be implemented across Therapeutic Areas JMAF Transformation initiatives GCSO Totality and Contracting team (TCON) Other Strategic Projects as directed by VP T-REX/SO Publications operations including selected medical writing, SOP, SME on publication industry standards GMAF Technology supporting ReCAP, One MAF Portal, WESS and relevant systems/platforms Responsibility for growth and development of direct reporting team members Member of Global Medical Affairs T-REX/SO leadership team

Requirements

A Masters degree (MA/MSc) is required.

An advanced degree eg PharmD, PhD is preferred.

A minimum of 7 years experience in a medical clinical or scientific environment is required, as well as demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects and collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication and organizational skills.

Budget and vendor management experience.

Global mindset and experience interacting with all levels of management, including executive management, is required.

People management strongly preferred.

Willingness to travel up to 20% annually is required.

Domestic and International Candidate must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent time management and multitasking skills, intellectual curiosity, people management excellence, and proven leadership skills.

Must possess the ability to partner and closely collaborate with all levels of the organization.

This position is located in Raritan, NJ and follows a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and up to two days remote per week.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $196,000 to $342,700.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporationโ€™s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companyโ€™s discretion on an individual basis.
