Job description

Make a Difference at Grand Canyon University
Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate adjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of professionals and leaders. As an adjunct, you will provide engaging, high-quality instruction while supporting student success in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
The Colangelo College of Business is a Christian business school for servant leaders and innovation based upon ethics, purpose and stakeholder integration to help communities prosper and flourish.
Strategic Management: This writing-intensive course is built around a team-based simulation requiring a high level of peer interaction and collaboration and serves as the capstone experience in business and management, introducing students to functional, business, and corporate strategy from the perspective of a strategy analyst. Tools and techniques are applied to the student's previous knowledge of accounting, finance, management, analytics, marketing, economics, entrepreneurship, and leadership acquired through their individual programs of study. Students integrate strategic analysis to demonstrate mastery of a wide variety of business domains.

  • Facilitate classroom instruction and discussions
  • Engage students in achieving course learning outcomes
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Incorporate current industry knowledge and best practices into teaching
  • Support the mission and values of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
  • PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years corporate experience
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required if Doctorate is not in a business discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strategic planning experience
