Key responsibilities

  • Build and own the property network by developing trusted relationships with property stakeholders and serving as the primary point of contact.

  • Secure property access by sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing permissions and agreements for operating on private and public properties.

  • Design and secure pickup/drop-off locations through on-site assessments and translating operational considerations into requirements for internal teams.

Job description

Aquent is proud to partner with a pioneering company that is revolutionizing urban mobility. This innovative organization is at the forefront of developing a new form of autonomous transportation, meticulously designed to prioritize the rider experience from the ground up. Their mission is to seamlessly integrate advanced mobility solutions into the fabric of urban environments, enhancing the way people arrive at and depart from key destinations.

Are you ready to be the architect of a new era in urban transportation? In this pivotal role, you wonโ€™t just manage relationships; youโ€™ll forge genuine, lasting partnerships that define our presence and ensure an elegant, invited arrival experience for every rider. Your work will directly shape how our cutting-edge service integrates into high-profile private properties, making you instrumental in bringing the future of transportation to life. This is your chance to make a tangible impact, creating the foundational network that will bring advanced mobility solutions to life in urban environments and directly influence how people experience mobility in their daily lives.

About the Role

This highly external role combines business development, partnership management, and physical operations. You will own a portfolio of relationships from initial outreach through agreement, launch, and ongoing performance, building the foundational network for our services. Your expertise will be crucial in expanding our footprint, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing the overall experience for our riders as we integrate advanced mobility solutions into key urban destinations.

Your Impact Will Include

  • Build and own the property network: Develop trusted relationships with general managers, owners, asset managers, residential and building operators, and leaders across various operational departments. Serve as the primary, responsive, and credible point of contact.
  • Secure property access: Source, structure, negotiate, and finalize permissions and agreements for operating on private property, including designated pickup/drop-off areas and staff procedures. Coordinate with internal teams and public authorities for public access points.
  • Design and secure pickup/drop-off locations: Conduct on-site assessments with property teams to identify optimal spots. Translate operational considerations like traffic flow, vehicle dimensions, and security into clear requirements for internal technical and operational teams.
  • Develop strategic partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with the potential for official or preferred status, including preferential space, branding, and co-marketing.
  • Own activation and partner health: Translate agreements into launch plans, operating procedures, staff communications, and escalation paths. Monitor performance, gather feedback, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.
  • Represent the company: Maintain a polished, warm, and discreet presence within the hospitality and tourism ecosystem, representing the organization at properties and industry events.
  • Connect field to internal teams: Bring partner requirements, market intelligence, and competitive activity back to internal stakeholders to inform decision-making and ensure commitment fulfillment.
  • Build a repeatable playbook: Maintain a disciplined pipeline and property map, track agreements, and create scalable tools and processes for future market expansion.

What Youโ€™ll Bring to the Team

To thrive in this role, youโ€™ll bring a blend of strategic acumen, operational expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Your ability to build trust and navigate complex environments will be key to our success.

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree with 6 to 8 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, hospitality, property or venue operations, travel, mobility, or a related field.
  • An established professional network and strong reputation within the hotel, resort, real estate, tourism, or destination community, with particular depth in the hospitality sector.
  • Proven experience building relationships with senior decision-makers while also effectively collaborating with on-property teams responsible for guest arrival and daily operations.
  • A demonstrated record of negotiating and implementing commercial agreements, access permissions, operating agreements, or other multi-party partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of how luxury hotels, resorts, and complex private properties operate, including guest arrival, valet, security, transportation, service access, and special-event considerations.
  • The ability to evaluate a physical operating environment and work with technical and operational teams to develop practical pickup/drop-off solutions.
  • Executive presence, high emotional intelligence, and strong commercial judgment, enabling you to earn trust across diverse stakeholders from owners to frontline operators.
  • The ability to coordinate Legal, Operations, and Marketing teams without direct authority.
  • Comfort working in person and in the field, including property walks, launches, and occasional high-priority events outside standard business hours.

What Will Set You Apart

Beyond the core requirements, certain experiences and skills will significantly enhance your impact and contribution to our team.

  • Experience at a mobility company, venue, airport, or market-launch organization.
  • Leadership experience at a prominent hotel, resort, hospitality group, property owner, destination organization, or major venue.
  • Experience establishing pickup/drop-off locations, transportation plans, valet or curb operations, geofencing, signage, or wayfinding.
  • Experience introducing a first-of-its-kind service into a highly visible or operationally complex environment.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish.
