Fund Finance Associate (3-6+ Years)
Location: New York, NY
Salary: from $260,000 to $420,000
Our Client a prestigious law firm is looking for an experienced Fund Finance Associate to join its growing Fund Finance practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with 3-6 years of experience in fund finance and related areas to take on significant responsibility and work with top-tier clients, including leading banks, asset managers, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle complex fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leveraged finance, and NAV financings.
  • Advise clients on fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, and acquisition financings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on deal structuring and strategy.
  • Build relationships with preeminent financial institutions, asset managers, and lending clients.
  • Provide insightful legal counsel in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials.
  • 3-6+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house, specializing in fund finance, syndicated lending, leveraged finance, CLOs, or acquisition financings.
