About the Roleย

The 16-week Fallย 2026 internship program (Monday,ย August 24, through Friday,ย Decemberย 11) is a paid, full-time internship ($22 an hour) designed to provide valuable experiences that build a strong communications foundation for entry-level employees.ย 

Interns receive customized industry and agency training, individualized coaching and feedback, and networking opportunities with peers and agency leadership. They also have the chance to develop a sense of belonging with a cohort of peers through one-on-one mentorship and the agency's employee resource groups.ย 

As a Microsoft Cloud intern, you will support work that drives digital transformation by advancing communications and programs built on Microsoft Azure, including AI-powered tools like Copilot, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and sustainable technology initiatives. Interns research, analyze media trends, support client work, and build strategic skills to manage reporter inquiries and coverage.ย 

Eligible interns must work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and commute to the office every Tuesday, Wednesday and one other day of their choice each week. Note: Teams may haveย additionalย requirements. Candidates must live within commuting distanceย to the followingย office:ย

Responsibilitiesย 
  • Understand the significance of strategic communication in achieving clients' businessย objectives.ย 
  • Discover strategies for building client relationships and engaging with influencers through effective communication.ย 
  • Build media relations skills and develop the ability to recognize significant and emerging trends for clients.ย 
  • Understand clients' products, communicationย plansย and the team's strategies and tactics to help clients connect with their target audiences.ย 
  • Collaborate with the We. team to address client inquiries, manage editorial and analyst requests, develop compelling story concepts, pitch stories to journalists and strategize forย significant events.ย 
  • Assistย in organizing and coordinating press activities, including press tours, analystย toursย and on-site visits.ย 
  • Support the development and distribution of news and announcements across various media platforms.ย 
  • Develop a deep sense of teamwork with colleagues across regions using Microsoft Teams technology.ย 
  • Report on relevant coverage and share insights into cultural trends.ย 
  • Although functions and responsibilities may vary based on the specificย teamย assignment, the agency is committed to providing an internship experience that is creative, dynamic,ย fulfillingย and consistent.ย

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Teams, Outlook,ย SharePointย and OneDrive.ย 
  • Ableย to commute to the office three days a week.ย
