Job description


Basic Purpose
Manages operations and daily implementation of Electrification projects, primarily Electric Vehicles projects, and action plans supporting strategies for Energy Services and Electrification. Manages and supports various project elements to enhance value and reduce risk to customers. Designs, develops, and delivers strategies and plans for commodity contract procurement, asset acquisition, and project development. Serves as a liaison between the company and external parties, as appropriate, regarding customer programs, legislative, regulatory and/or community issues.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Designs, develops and Manages Electrification and Electric Vehicle projects
  • Oversees the design, contractor administration and full performance, including customer awareness and satisfaction, of Electrification projects that requires ownership and implementation of budgets, regulatory definition, and compliance to meet cost and schedule
  • Negotiates critical issues pertaining to the success of each project with internal and external customers
  • Plans, directs and coordinates all project activities to ensure project objectives are met on time and on budget
  • Manages the selection process and efforts of outside contractors and vendors.

Represents and promotes department and Company programs, products, and services
  • Represents Company to new and existing customers. Develops strategy and implements electric vehicle and electrification solutions for customers.
  • Leads activities related to the regulatory process through the development of electrification and electric vehicle programs and program documentation and the preparation of documents and draft testimony for others in support of regulatory proceedings related to Electric Vehicles and Electrification programs.
  • Serves as an electrification representative for various community activities and regulatory and legislative matters as appropriate.
  • Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school and 5 years of related work experience with a minimal of 3 years of project management experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 8 years of related work experience with a minimal of 3 years of project management experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of:
  • Electric Vehicle industry including financial analysis, contracts and technologies.

Skills such as:
  • Technical writing, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, human relations, project management, planning, scheduling, organizational, motivation, and relationship building
  • Tracking records, multitasking, leading cross-functional teams, resolving problems in a timely manner, delivering results, and interacting directly with end customer manner, delivering results, and interacting directly with end customers
  • Creates compelling business cases for new programs
  • Learning on the fly and applying knowledge to resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Establishes and manages processes and networks associated with projects.
