Job description

Howย you'llย make an impact:ย 

As a Software Implementation Consultant on our Decision Support (DS) team, you will be an expert at implementing the Decision Support suite of our software,ย StrataJazz. Decision Support is rated #1 in KLAS and is known as the "gold standard" for understanding cost and margins. You will partner directly with and provide guidance to key team members and executive stakeholders at the largest health systems in the world. The responsibilities of this role include:ย 

  • Implement significant components ofย StrataJazz, specific to Cost Accounting, Service Line Margin Analytics, and Episode Analytics at multiple customers across the country.ย 
  • Implementationย includes configuring the user requirements,ย validatingย functionality, building reports, developing workflows, and testing key features of the software while delivering the project on time and on budget.ย 
  • Articulate an understanding of healthcare finance as it relates to customer needs.ย 
  • Communicate proactively with Strata team members, managers, project managers, and executives on issues and risks that may arise during the project life cycle. Develop and execute action plans to mitigate risks proactively.ย 
  • Exhibitย strong consultative communication skills resulting in success in driving customer engagement.ย 
  • Lead customer meetings andย trainingsย to ensure customers understand specific features and functions related toย StrataJazz.ย 
  • Meaningfully contribute to operational improvement and strategic growth projects to enable Strata to continue to scale operations and continually improve our level of service to customers.ย 
  • Provide feedback to the product development teamย regardingย enhancement requests, defects, and other issues.ย 
  • Work in an Agile environment and learn one of the most widely used and effective methodologies for building and implementing high quality, feature-rich software.ย 

Whatย we'reย looking for:

  • 2+ years' experience independently leading customers through complex projects with a focus on timeline and budget
  • 2+ years' experience implementing and configuring software
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization in a clear and articulate way
  • Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Statements)
  • Willingness to travel within the US as needed to customer locations up to 20-35%

  • Experience in cost accounting and healthcare finance
  • Experience in healthcare consulting directly related to Decision Support
  • Experience using SQL or relational database concepts
  • Experience using StrataJazz

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000- $90,000

Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
