About the Role

  • As an AI Engineering team member, you will be instrumental in advancing new features and/or solutions from the Proof of Concept stage to full production readiness. Your role involves refining and enhancing AI solutions to ensure they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Execute on the technical vision for development of AI solutions and delivery of AI features to ensure they are scalable and production-ready.

  • Refine user stories and define clear acceptance criteria for feature requests to ensure alignment with business needs.

  • Write high-quality, production-ready code and assist in code reviews to maintain standards of excellence.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols, including smoke tests and unit tests, to ensure solution reliability.

  • Support the debugging process and issue triage to maintain solution integrity throughout the development cycle.

  • Participate in ethical reviews and risk/security evaluations to uphold Crowe's standards for responsible AI deployment.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Python programming and experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Strong ability to work independently and execute tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in navigating project ambiguities and iterative testing processes to refine AI solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively documenting and presenting technical details to nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Solid understanding of how to align technical outputs with business requirements.

  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and experience with advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry.

  • Experience in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).

  • Previous experience in professional services or a similar industry, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
