Grapple Truck Operator – Brown’s Tree ServiceBrown’s Tree Service is hiring experienced Grapple Truck Operators for storm cleanup and debris removal.

We are looking for dependable, safety-minded operators who know how to run equipment, work efficiently, and take care of the truck they are assigned.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a grapple truck for tree and storm debris removal
  • Load and haul brush, logs, limbs, and other vegetative debris
  • Operate the grapple efficiently without damaging trucks, trailers, utilities, property, or surrounding equipment
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Keep the truck clean, fueled, greased, and ready to work
  • Identify and immediately report mechanical or safety issues
  • Complete required daily paperwork, load tickets, and time records
  • Communicate with supervisors and ground personnel
  • Follow jobsite, DOT, utility, and company safety requirements
  • Work around tree crews, skid steers, loaders, chainsaw operators, and other heavy equipment
  • Be prepared to work extended hours during storm-response deployments
Requirements
  • Previous grapple truck or similar heavy-equipment experience strongly preferred

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CDL preferred and may be required depending on truck assignment
  • Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to safely maneuver large trucks in tight residential and storm-damaged areas
  • Must be dependable and show up ready to work
  • Must be able to follow directions and communicate with supervisors
  • Must be willing to travel for storm work when needed
  • Must be able to work long shifts, including 12-hour days, nights, weekends, and consecutive days during storm response
  • Must be able to work safely in changing weather and field conditions
  • Drug-free workplace

If you can operate a grapple safely, keep production moving, take care of equipment, and don't need someone standing over you all day, we want to talk to you.
Storm work can mean long days and extended time away from home, but it also provides an opportunity for significant hours when deployed.
