Why Case Construction & Restoration?

Case Construction & Restoration helps homeowners and businesses recover after property damage. We handle everything from water, fire, and storm damage repairs to full reconstruction, working closely with customers and insurance carriers to get jobs done right.
We’re a local, family-run company that values quality work, accountability, and clear communication. We expect our team to take ownership of their work and represent the company professionally on every job.

If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, leads by example, and wants to be part of a growing, tight-knit team, we’d love to talk.
Position Overview

We’re looking for a Lead Carpenter who can take control of a job site and see it through from start to finish.
This is a working leadership role. You’ll be hands-on in the field while managing a small crew, keeping jobs on track, and making sure the work meets our standards. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly, solve problems as they come up, and operate without constant oversight.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in both finish and rough carpentry, including trim, laminate, cabinets/countertops, framing, doors, and hardware installation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism on job sites
  • Commitment to job site safety and understanding of MIOSHA/OSHA requirements
  • Leadership potential, with experience managing crews, projects, or both preferred
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Execute high-quality finish carpentry, including trim, laminate, and cabinet/countertop installation
  • Perform skilled rough carpentry, including framing, door, and hardware installation
  • Read and accurately follow blueprints, plans, and project specifications
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, depending on project needs
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, team members and customers throughout each project
Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check (insurance-related work)
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for job communication and updates
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform daily labor
  • Willingness to work occasional late hours or be on-call when needed due to the nature of restoration work
  • Strong commitment to safety and job site standards
What to Expect

  • Steady, year-round work
  • 40–45 hours most weeks, with occasional longer days during busy periods
  • Compensation based on experience and qualifications
  • Opportunity to grow into higher leadership roles based on performance
What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Use of company vehicle
  • Opportunity for growth within the company
  • Supportive team environment
Why This Role Matters

This position is critical to our success. You’re not just building or repairing homes, you’re helping customers move forward after difficult situations. The quality of your work and leadership directly impacts our reputation and customer experience.
