Job Title :: Engineer 1 or 2 (Distribution)
Location :: Eastern Division Office - 925 Quintard Avenue , Anniston, AL 36201
Contract :: 12-18 Months
Estimated Start Date :: ASAP
Note :: If any case not able to receiving call please provide these information work authorization , current location , expected rate, willing to relocate,.
Education
Ø BS degree, or higher, in Engineering is required
Job Duties
Ø The position will be required to handle all day-to-day engineering work activities in an assigned area.
Ø The primary job duties will be utilization of sound engineering practices in the preparation of work estimates to provide service to new customers, to maintain and to improve the electrical distribution system.
Ø There will be opportunities for engineering major projects such as roadway relocations, budget items, reliability projects, subdivisions, and large commercial projects.
Ø Superior customer service will be expected from the successful candidate. Duties will also include investigating and resolving customer service issues.
Ø The candidate will also be expected to be available after business hours for local storm response.
Ø The candidate filling this position will also be expected to have a safety first mindset.
Experience
Ø Experience in engineering, design, or construction of distribution electrical system
Ø Proven record of success in a team environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ø Knowledge of NEC and NESC is preferred
Ø Knowledge and experience in various computer applications
Ø Ability to effectively communicate and work well with employees, customers, developers, consultants, city and state agencies and others
Ø Effective time management skills
