Job description

  • Fall Cleanup crew is a Monday-Friday 7:30A until done. you will be assisting lawn care crews with the clean up of leaves and debris.
  • Snow shoveling/blowing is a on-call position to assist with snow removal. This position requires the successful applicant to work on an on-call basis with irregular hours between mid-November and the end of March each year. It is On-You to call the day before upcoming storm to let company know that you are ready to work. There are shifts that go out every 8 hours, but if you chose to stay then you can make $20 an hour after 8 hours.  Applicants must be available and committed to work with very short notice at all times of the day and night using a variety of tools and equipment listed below. Our company has many long-term employees who have developed personally and professionally with our company over the last 35 years. If you would like to stay on after snow season we can find a job for you here in our company year round.

Job Description:

  • Snow Removal: Understand concepts of winter maintenance, such as snow clearing and clearing parking lots and sidewalks. Document the usage of materials and location. Operate equipment in all conditions, especially heavy snowfall, work in a healthy and safe manner and follow all company safety guidelines, perform routine inspections to insure safety and reliability of equipment, including pre-storm and post-storm inspections while reporting repairs as needed, take constructive feedback from supervisor(s), Proactively respond in looking for potential hazards, problems and overall safety, have exceptional time management skills and ability to work both independently and part of a team, have exceptional attendance and reliability.
  • Fall Cleanup: Understand concepts of fall weather. raking, blowing heavy layers of leaves and debris from turf. Pulling weeds from beds, removal of dead annuals, cutting back perennials and trimming overgrown shrubs. Clean up of fallen sticks branches and yard waste. Assisting lawn care crew with final grass cut of the season. Document usage of material and location. Must be able to operate equipment in a safety manner and follow all company guidelines.

Shoveling Equipment: Shovels, salt spreader, snow blower, leaf blowers, drive company truck (if needed - must have proper driver license).


Cleanup Equipment: Backpack blower, rake, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, push mower, zero turn, walk behind, weed whackers.
