Job description


The Corrections Inmate Worker prepares food items in accordance with OP-X production requirements. Assists with production activities as directed by Aramark Supervisors. Performs various duties in accordance with Aramark sanitation standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare all food items according to recipe cards and prep lists according to OP-X standards.
• Implement accurate food handling procedures.
• May be a lead in the storeroom / warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• May help ensure accurate pulls
• Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas. Make sure the stations are accurately cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift. (Including cleaning of kitchen equipment)
• Implement the Correctional Facility security policies related to handling and securing kitchen tools and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment, which conforms to all standards and regulations. Adhere to safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, checking in of product.
• Completes all required training, including graduation from the Aramark IN2WORK program.
• Maintain professional uniform attire.

• Currently incarcerated at a Correctional Facility
