Your Swift Current Canadian Tire is currently accepting applications for a full time and part time Warehouse Associates.The Warehouse Associate has a key role in ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Associates will also be responsible for keeping the warehouses oranized, located and overall maintained. This position includes a lot of lifting and carrying. Swift Current Canadian Tire also maintains an offsite warehouse for larger/bulkier goods. Warehouse staff will be required to be able to transport products back and forth from the secondary warehouse in a safe and effecient matter. As a result a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required. Machine experience with forklifts and/or reach trucks (vertical forklifts) is a valued asset. On top of receiving and warehousing products, Warehouse Associates are responsible for all aspects of the online shopping experience. This includes picking, packing and delivering online orders to both customers that come instore and those in the stores curbside locations. Our team is looking for individuals who physically capable and desire to work in a fast paced environment, able to multitask, be confident and able to problem solve and potentially work within a flexible schedule.Work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment, or in a Canadian Tire store, is also considered an asset. A Valid drivers license is required.
