Warehouse Associate

Our Warehouse associate is instrumental in the success of our mission. To provide efficient service with precise distribution of product. We believe in cross training our team to better support the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete order receipts.
  • Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
  • Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses
  • Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
  • Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, with new or transferred merchandise.
  • Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
  • Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
  • Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  • Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers.
  • Clean shelves, and aisles.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
  • Keep records of out-going orders.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts if certified.
  • Receive, unload, open, unpack merchandise.

Here's what we require:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand English to compare and comprehend product specs and descriptions.
  • Must have basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and motorized warehouse equipment in accordance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent work ethic, hard-working, and reliability; attendance and punctuality are an important part of performance standards.
  • Dedicated and self-motivated to completing repetitive and manual tasks with a sense of urgency to meet distribution goals.
  • Successful working in a team as well as independently.
  • Promote a positive and cooperative attitude; encourages others to stay focused on meeting warehouse efficiency standards as a team.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area to help the team maintain a safe warehouse environment.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull weights of up to 50 pounds; products vary in weight and size.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for shifts ranging from 8 – 10 hours.
  • Perform all job functions following proper safety requirements.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse distribution experience preferred.
$17.00 PER HOUR!
