Visual Merchandiser

The Visual Merchandiser creates exciting, authoritative cutting-edge visual presentations for store installations (interiors and/or windows) and presents store merchandise to company standards encouraging customers to purchase.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Style and dress mannequins and/or hard good presentation
  • Sourcing and implementing of appropriate materials and propping
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines, standards and directives
  • Partnering with various departments to execute visual initiatives
  • Re-work presentations as merchandise sells down or consolidations arrive, ensuring new receipts are present to maximize impact
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines, standards and directives
  • Rotate aged stock into blend to assist in driving sell through
  • Orchestrate placement of signage
  • Work with external vendor specialist in merchant designated areas/departments
  • Ensure established visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store interiors and windows
  • Properly maintain the visual stockroom & visual and merchandising collateral
  • Respect merchandise protection standards and inventory requirements when selecting and returning merchandise for presentations
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of Visual Merchandising experience
  • Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma
