Each store manager is responsible for all day to day activities within their store.  Store managers are required to work at least 45 hours per week and must be ServSafe Manager certified.  Store Managers may be required to travel for training and might be asked to work in other stores from time to time.  Store Managers shall take full ownership in the operation of their store and ensure that the store presents a fun and friendly environment for employees and customers.  They are responsible for the efficient operation of the store and must effectively manage all aspects of the business.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Abliity to hire, train, and manage employees
  • Must be ServSafe Manager certified

Responsibilities and Duties

A store manager is responsible for all aspects of the business, including the following

  • Sales – Actively drive sales by encouraging and guiding assistant managers and crew members.  Encourage and motivate crews to achieve sales goals.   Always lead by example.
  • Customer Service – Our customers are the reason we exist and what keeps us in business.   Our goal is to provide each and every customer with exceptional customer service and to meet all of their needs and expectations in a friendly and outgoing manner.
  • Product Quality – Ensure our products meet customer’s expectations and the guidelines set by Auntie Anne’s.  Freshness tracking must be in place and utilized at all times.
  • Sampling Program – Responsible for implementing an active sampling program.
  • Personnel Management – Responsible for hiring and developing crew with the highest standards possible.  Hold all employees accountable for their duties and responsibilities.  Build and maintain a working environment that provides opportunities for advancement and rewards for high achievement.  Handle disciplinary measures as necessary.
  • Training - Ensure new and existing employees receive complete and proper training.  Employees must be trained for success.  Train all employees on HCAAP procedures.
  • Cash Management - It is the sole responsibility of the Store Manager to monitor, report and correct all cash handling procedures in their store. Ensure nightly closing procedures are followed.
  • Store Presentation – Maintain sparkling clean and orderly stores.  Ensure all cleaning and maintenance checklists are completed.  Ensure all employees are in proper uniform including nametags at all times.  Make sure all marketing materials are displayed in accordance with national marketing campaigns.
  • Inventory / COGS control – Store Managers are responsible for controlling food and paper costs.  Responsible for inventory, food order, receiving truck, and overall COGS control.
  • Labor Management – Store Managers are responsible for generating and managing schedules for their store.  Responsible for overall store labor metrics.
  • Maintenance – Store Managers must maintain equipment maintenance checklists and ensure that preventative maintenance items are taken care of regularly.

Pay

  • $18.00 to $22.00 depending on experience
