Store Manager

Summary:   

The Store Manager typically works as a team with another Store Manager to manage either the Sales or Operational side of store.  Reports directly to General Manager of the store. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Schedule for department managers 

  • Oversee department managers in store 

  • Manage the store sales by reviewing sales numbers for each department 

  • Manage store operations 

  • Train and develop store team members 

  • Achieve planned growth and profit goals 

  • Ensure execution of all customer service program, company guidelines and policies 

  • Provide a safe, clean environment for customers and team members 

  • Always ensure adequate availability of merchandise 

  • Accurately report financial measures and transactions 

  • Plan and organize to meet or exceed forecasted financial goals 

  • Ensure published hours of store operations are met 

  • Recruit, hire and train to ensure efficient operations 

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:  

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or college or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to accurately perform the above requirements.  

  • Minimum of three years prior experience in retail industry preferably in a customer contact area.

  • Prover managerial skills
