Coast has been part of the Columbia, SC community for years — and as we continue to grow and prepare to rebrand as Coast, we’re looking for a few great people to grow with us.

We’re hiring a Store Manager to join a solid, long-standing team that takes pride in serving our neighbors every day. If you’re dependable, friendly, and motivated to make a difference in our community, we’d love to have you on board.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the daytoday operations Interface with District Manager and corporate personnel
  • Interface with District Manager and corporate personnel while planning and implementing market strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Maintain accuracy and timely collection of sales data through POS system
  • Promptly and accurately complete required paperwork procedures daily/weekly/monthly, to the company standards
  • Operate register and handle transactions accurately according to company standards and policies
  • Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory to ensure product availability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Safeguard company and store assets to prevent shrink
  • Maintain maintenance of store property and report equipment or property related issues
  • Supervise Assistant Manager(s) and Team Members
  • Recruit, onboard, train and manage store associates
  • Embody and promote PGB core values
  • Track employee performance and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Effectively communicate disciplinary actions, performance improvements and goals to store associates while partnering with Human Resources
  • Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels while maintaining store budget hours
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
  • Provide friendly, caring, and honest service to every customer
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 lbs.
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
