Director of Operations

StatPoint Medical and Chesapeake Vascular Access

Baltimore, MD โ€ข Hybrid

Full-time

Re-posted 9 days ago

Job description

At StatPoint, our #1 value is Team First: we take care of the people who take care of our patients. We believe healthcare is broken, and we’re here to fix it.

Position Summary

Come make history with us. StatPoint’s Mobile Acute Care (MAC) team is changing how care is delivered across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. We bring fast-paced, hospital-level care directly to patients where they are most comfortable: at home.

As our Director of Operations, you will be a key leader in making that model work at scale. This is not a traditional healthcare operations role. You will lead the systems, people, workflows, and daily execution behind a rapidly growing mobile healthcare organization; helping ensure our clinical teams have what they need to deliver exceptional care every day.

You will work closely with leadership to improve staffing, scheduling, logistics, fleet and equipment management, supply operations and cross-functional processes. You will identify what is not working, build practical solutions, and create the structure needed to support growth without losing the urgency, teamwork, and patient-first mindset that make StatPoint different.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to have a direct impact on the future of healthcare.

We are 100% digital and use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Apple hardware to keep teams connected and work moving efficiently across the organization.

This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule.

Benefits

  • Company pays 90% of medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums
  • 401(k) plan with employer contribution
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Hybrid work with schedule flexibility

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for clinical operations.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 15 employees.
  • Partner directly with the Vice President of Operations to develop and execute operational initiatives that support organizational goals and long-term growth.
  • Oversee staffing strategies, workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure appropriate clinical coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Direct the management of operational resources, including clinical supplies, equipment, company vehicles, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures, policies, and best practices to improve consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and cross-functional departments to address operational challenges, improve communication, and support organizational priorities.
  • Create a positive, engaged, and high-performing culture through effective leadership, communication, recognition, and employee development.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading, developing, and managing teams.
  • Experience reporting to executive leadership and partnering on organizational strategy and operational planning.
  • Proven ability to lead through change, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency with MacOS, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based business systems.
