Now Hiring: Regional General Manager / General Sales Manager – Lead the Charge, Drive Growth, and Inspire a High-Performance Dealership Team to New Heights!

 
We're seeking a strategic, results-driven Automotive General Manager / General Sales Manager to oversee multiple dealership locations and lead high-performing teams to the next level of success within the Barrie area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across two or more dealerships while developing strong leadership teams and creating a culture of accountability and growth.

 
Location: Barrie ON

 
Hours: Open availability from Monday to Saturday

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Follow the daily checklist for the department
  • Oversee and mentor the leadership teams 
  • Monitor KPIs, sales performance, fixed operations, and profitability 
  • Ability to manage several customer needs at any given time
  • Standardize operational processes while supporting each dealership's unique business needs.
  • Manage inventory levels based on seasonally demanding product lines
  • Manage growth and profitability of the business
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Provide training for all forward positions
  • Allocate resources between dealerships to maximize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and all other workplace regulations and policies  
  • Ability to manage and meet all government inspections within a permitted time period
  • Other duties as required


What You Bring to the Table: Applicants must have a desire and passion for the automotive industry with a strong management background!

  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry 
  • Experience leading multiple departments or dealership locations is considered a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and develop high-performing management teams
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the industry    
  • Sales experience required
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines  
  • Must be organized, responsible, able to abide by all relevant safety requirements. 
  • Positive Teamwork Attitude
  • Strong computer & leadership skills   
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
