Position: Assistant Store Manager Team: Retail

Reports to: Store Manager

General Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager with daily operations of the retail space of the dispensary. They perform the same duties as that of the Leads, but are the acting Store Manager when the Store Manager is unavailable. The Assistant Store Manager provides additional support to the Store Manager for motivating and supervising a team of an average of 40+ employees. The Assistant Store Manager must have good communication and interpersonal skills, must provide high levels of customer service expectations, and possess strong conflict resolution skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement timelines to achieve targets.
    • Delegate operational tasks to team members.
    • Support team member growth through on-the-job training and development programs.
    • Motivating and empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
    • Contributing to the growth of the company through a successful team.
    • Assist in creating a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
    • Responsible for opening and closing of the dispensary (Key Holder) as scheduled.
    • Adheres to all cannabis laws and compliance.
    • Participates in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Frequently interact with customers, fulfill customer requests, and address customer issues, questions, or suggestions.
  • Support in scheduling and administering performance reviews.
  • Support Store Manager In Human Resources functions.
  • Work alongside the Store Manager in creating schedules.
  • Support Store Manager in tracking and providing corrective action.
  • Assume the role of acting Store Manager when Store Manager is unavailable.
  • Assist Store Manager in generating financial and performance reports.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by management.
