Job description

The Hospice Store Helper will work under the direction and supervision of the Hospice Store Manager and will perform various duties related to the operation of the store. All activities are to be engaged with a high level of customer service as the goal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  2. Must possess a positive friendly attitude at all times.
  3. Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, volunteers, donors and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Monitor the donor door and assist donors
  2. Assists with donation pickups
  3. Assists in sorting donations
  4. Assist in maintain and cleaning store and premises
  5. Assist with stocking, clean up and bagging, if assigned
  6. Other duties as assigned

The Hospice Store Helper is not authorized to drive the truck and may not serve in the capacity of cashier.
