What You'll Do

As our Land Survey Project Manager, you will lead surveying and mapping projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met while mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts.

  • Project Management & Oversight
    Lead project management efforts including scope development, fee proposals, scheduling, and contract negotiations while ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Business Development & Client Engagement
    Support marketing initiatives including proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs/RFQs while cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships across Southern California.
  • Technical Leadership
    Provide technical oversight and strategic direction across survey projects including transportation design surveys, right-of-way engineering and mapping, construction surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographic mapping.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship
    Mentor and develop survey staff, CAD drafters, and subconsultants, supporting professional growth and team development.
  • Project Coordination & Communication
    Lead project meetings, manage communication, and ensure alignment between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in California
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible land surveying and mapping experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Office, and Teams
  • Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Incentives: Discretionary performance bonus program
