Position Summary

HUXWRX Safety Co. is seeking a, retail-focused Retail Outlet Manager to lead the daily operations of our small-format retail outlet. This space will serve as a premium brand environment where retail, product support, and customer experience come together.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations

  • Manage daily operations of the HUXWRX retail outlet, including opening and closing procedures, sales floor readiness, merchandising, inventory organization, and store flow.
  • Maintain a clean, premium, and brand-consistent environment that reflects the quality and purpose of HUXWRX products.
  • Oversee point-of-sale activity, transactions, order accuracy, receipts, returns, exchanges, and retail documentation.
  • Ensure the space is prepared for walk-in traffic, employee purchases, partner visits, VIP guests, and scheduled appointments.

Customer Experience & Product Support

  • Create a welcoming, professional experience for customers shopping for merchandise, gear, product questions, suppressor support, device guidance, or general HUXWRX assistance.
  • Develop a working understanding of HUXWRX products, accessories, technology, and the company’s focus on safety and performance.
  • Communicate product information clearly and appropriately based on the customer’s needs and level of familiarity.
  • Connect customers with the appropriate internal team when questions require additional technical, compliance, sales, or service support.

Inventory, Merchandising & Presentation

  • Manage retail inventory organization, product presentation, branded merchandise, displays, signage, and stock levels.
  • Coordinate with E-commerce, Customer Experience, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to keep retail inventory and in-store presentation aligned with product priorities and demand.
  • Assist with cycle counts, receiving, tagging, restocking, audits, and inventory reconciliation
  • Identify fast-moving products, low-stock items, merchandising opportunities, and common product questions.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of retail management, showroom management, store operations, or related leadership experience.
  • Hands-on experience with point-of-sale systems, retail inventory management, merchandising, stock control, and daily store operations.
  • Experience leading, training, scheduling, and coaching retail or service-oriented team members.
  • Strong understanding of the retail cycle, including opening and closing procedures, store flow, product presentation, inventory replenishment, promotions, sales tracking, and retail readiness.
  • Ability to create a polished, organized, and retail-ready environment with consistent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, service-first approach.
  • Comfortable learning and explaining technical products clearly and confidently.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a small-format retail environment.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and respect for regulated products, privacy, and company standards.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Experience, E-commerce, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience in firearms, outdoor, tactical, sporting goods, military, law enforcement, premium retail, or technical product environments.
  • Knowledge of suppressors, firearms accessories, mounting devices, NFA-related purchasing processes, or regulated retail environments.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, customer service platforms, order management systems, or ERP-connected inventory workflows.
