Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Role Overview
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management while maintaining safety, compliance, and proper documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to client and regulatory specifications.
  • Create shipping labels and documentation; coordinate pickups with carriers.

Receiving
  • Inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy and quality.
  • Record and process receipts in the inventory system; handle discrepancies and returns.

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate stock records and perform cycle counts/audits.
  • Organize and store materials in assigned locations.

Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain shipping/receiving logs and prepare activity reports.
  • File documentation accurately for audits and compliance.

Equipment & Safety
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely (if certified).
  • Follow company safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Customer Service & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve logistics issues.
  • Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles.
