Job description

Work in the mountains and join our fun team! Silver Fork Lodge & Restaurant is hiring experienced day time and evening Line Cooks!

We have AM and PM positions; The AM shift can be between 7am to 3pm; The PM shift can be from 1pm to close


AM Shift; The successful candidate will have experience cooking breakfast and lunch.

PM Shift: The successful candidate will have experience cooking lunch and dinner.


Line Cook Job Duties:

  • Prepare food on the line.
  • Prep station and keep stocked (and line as needed), especially before and during prime operation hours.
  • Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients.
  • Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system.
  • Properly date, cool, temp, and organize food products in accordance with the Utah Health Department standards.
  • Ensure food preparation and presentation maintain quality, safety, and restaurant standards.
  • Verify food storage units are consistently well-managed and in good working order.
  • Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Keep station cleaned throughout shift, maintain sanitizer bucket, participate in deep cleaning kitchen areas as needed, and clean station and remove trash at end of shift. Assist in cleaning dishes as needed.
