What does a storage assistant do?

A Storage Assistant is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining items within a storage facility or warehouse. They may also assist with packing, shipping, and retrieving items as needed. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are important in this role.

To thrive as a Storage Assistant, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of inventory management, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. These competencies ensure efficient storage operations, minimize errors, and support smooth workflow within warehouses or storage facilities.
