About the Role:
The purpose of a Kitchen Assistant position is to provide support to the kitchen staff in various tasks, such as food preparation, cleaning and organizing the kitchen, and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are stocked and in good working order. This role also involves assisting with food preparation and cooking, as well as adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations. The ultimate goal is to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. .
Responsibilities:
  • | Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup.
  • Stock and organize supplies and ingredients.
  • Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks, such as plating and cooking.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with dish presentation.
  • Manage inventory and storage.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries.
  • Dispose of waste properly.
