Maintenance Technician – Washington, DC

Full-Time / On-Site / HH Red Stone


About the Role:
We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to support property operations at our Washington, DC location. This role is responsible for routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and excellent service to our residents. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a high-performing team, we’d love to meet you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work orders, repairs, and service requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks
  • Perform maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC (if certified), carpentry, and general building systems
  • Conduct property inspections and support preventative maintenance programs
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls (on-call rotation required)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of maintenance or trade experience in a residential or commercial setting
  • General knowledge of building systems and repair work
  • HVAC certification a plus but not required
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay depending on experience and certifications
  • Compensation: $23/hr - $27/hr
