Job description

Build Million-Dollar Backyards (Not Mow Lawns)
Experienced Landscape Construction Laborer
High-End Design-Build Firm | Bellevue, WA
$25โ€“$30/hr + Up to $7โ€“$8/hr Performance Bonuses
Translation: Top performers can earn $37โ€“$38/hr | Full Benefits

Here's the Deal:
Alderwood Landscaping isn't your typical landscape company. We don't touch mowers. We build custom outdoor living spaces that belong in magazinesโ€”think cascading waterfalls, stone fire pits, chef-grade outdoor kitchens, and patios that cost more than most cars.
Our clients are high-end homeowners across the Pacific Northwest who want the best. That's where you come in.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
  • Operating excavators and skid steers (not just watching someone else do it).
  • Installing premium hardscapes, water features, retaining walls, and rockeries.
  • Working directly under a Site Managerโ€”leading and motivating your crew.
  • Reading plans, setting grades, and keeping sites tight and professional.
  • Building projects you'll actually want to show your friends.

What We Need From You:
  • 3+ years landscape construction experience (you know the difference between a compactor and a jackhammer).
  • Heavy equipment skillsโ€”excavators, skid steers, etc.
  • Valid driver's license + reliable transportation.
  • The grit to work outdoors year-round (yes, even in Seattle winters).
  • Leadership potential and a no-drama attitude.
  • Bilingual? Huge plus.

What's In It For You:
  • $25โ€“$30+/hr base (experience pays).
  • Performance incentives up to $7โ€“$8/hr extra.
  • Full benefits after 90 days: Health, Dental, Vision.
  • 401(k) + Free Life Insurance.
  • Paid Time Off
  • Real career growthโ€”prove yourself, become a Foreman.
  • Work on projects that actually matter (not just another hedge trim).

Ready to Level Up?
If you're tired of dead-end gigs and want to work with a crew that takes pride in their craft, let's talk.
