Hearthstone Lodge Senior Residences is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. This position is full time, benefit eligible. Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.


Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all of the resident apartments, public areas and work areas within the guidelines, policies and procedures of the community.


Job Duties:

  • Responsible for daily cleaning of common work areas such as offices, restrooms, laundry room and break room.
  • Assists with clean-up of common spaces in the Community including wiping down tables, vacuuming, dusting and common area bathroom maintenance.
  • Cleans assigned apartments including floors, bathroom fixtures, mirrors, vacuuming, light fixtures, toilets, tubs/showers, dusting.
  • Cleans rent ready vacant units on a weekly basis.
  • Assist the Maintenance team in special projects
  • Maintain stocking and inventory of housekeeping supplies.
  • Launder housekeeping linens.
  • Perform any other jobs as directed by Community Administrator.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role
  • Experience working with the Senior Community preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand; and use hands to handle/lift objects. Must be able to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing; to lift to 50lbs. regularly; to transport assigned supplies and materials. Must be able to bend, stoop, push and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a step ladder at approximately three feet in height).
