Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leader to oversee and execute premium landscape installations. This role is critical in leading a dedicated crew of 2-3 professionals to transform outdoor living spaces through meticulous hardscape and softscape execution.


Based in the greater Annapolis, MD area, our client is a premier landscape architecture and design-build firm specializing in timeless, sustainable, and custom outdoor spaces. With a strong regional reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and environmental stewardship, this organization offers a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture where skilled professionals are valued and supported in their careers.


Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the daily on-site operations of a 2-3 person landscape construction crew, working hands-on alongside the team to ensure efficiency.
  • Execute comprehensive hardscape installations, with a strong focus on precise mortared stone and concrete work.
  • Install diverse softscape elements, including intricate planting designs and seasonal garden features.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site, enforcing all company safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
  • Communicate project progress and milestones effectively with project managers, addressing any on-site logistical challenges proactively.


Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience in general landscaping, planting, and specialized hardscape installations (specifically mortared stone and concrete).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with previous experience managing, training, and motivating small crews.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory for this role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to facilitate seamless communication across the team.

Compensation & Benefits
