Job description

Terra Stoneworks is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our presence throughout the builder, contractor, remodeling, and residential markets. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who enjoys creating new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and becoming a trusted resource for customers seeking premium countertop solutions.

You'll be responsible for developing new relationships, growing existing accounts, and working closely with our estimating, production, and installation teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation through project completion.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and other industry partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships that generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and industry events.

  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product consultations to understand client needs and recommend solutions.

  • Prepare and present pricing proposals and estimates while coordinating with the internal estimating team.

  • Collaborate with project management, scheduling, production, and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales and revenue goals.

  • Follow up with customers throughout the sales process to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.

  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within the company's CRM or job management system.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.

  • Represent Terra Stoneworks professionally within the local building and construction community.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of business development, outside sales, account management, or relationship-based sales experience within the countertop, stone fabrication, kitchen & bath, cabinetry, home building, or construction industry.

  • Previous experience working for a granite, quartz, or stone fabrication company is strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of generating new business and consistently achieving sales goals.

  • Strong network within the residential construction, remodeling, or builder community is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.

  • Experience using CRM, ERP, or job management software; Moraware experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the internal team.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while driving company growth.
