Job description

At Mallory Safety & Supply, we're more than a safety distributor-we're a trusted partner to thousands of industrial organizations across the country. For more than 40 years, we've helped customers improve workplace safety through innovative solutions, exceptional service, and a people-first culture.
Today, we're one of the largest independently owned safety distributors in the nation, with more than 40 locations and nearly 600 employees. As we continue to grow, we're looking for team members who enjoy working independently, building customer relationships, and making a real impact every day.
If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy being on the move rather than sitting behind a desk, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
As an Onsite Inventory Specialist, you'll become the face of Mallory at one of our valued customer accounts in Henderson, Tennessee. You'll help ensure employees always have the PPE and safety supplies they need by stocking vending machines, managing inventory, and performing regular inspections throughout the facility.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service in an industrial environment.
This part-time position (20-30 hours per week) is based at a single customer manufacturing facility in Henderson, TN. Product is ordered and stocked in a secure on-site storage area, where you'll receive inventory and replenish the vending machines as part of your daily responsibilities.
What You'll Do
Every day looks a little different, but your responsibilities will include:
  • Stock PPE and industrial safety products in customer vending machines
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform routine cycle counts
  • Ensure products are available so employees always have what they need
  • Complete inspections of first aid cabinets, AEDs, emergency eyewash stations, safety showers, and emergency lighting
  • Document inspections and inventory activity using mobile reporting software
  • Build positive relationships with customer employees and Mallory teammates
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and service
  • Stay active throughout the day with frequent walking, bending, lifting, and movement

What You'll Need
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using technology, tablets, and Microsoft Office
  • Able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Able to lift, bend, walk, and stay active throughout the day

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience
  • Driving record that meets Mallory's Safe Driver standards
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English

(I removed the requirement for a personal vehicle since your new information doesn't mention travel between locations. If they'll still be driving a personal vehicle for any aspect of the job, I'd add that bullet back.)
Work Environment
You'll be working inside an industrial manufacturing facility that is clean and well-maintained but may be dusty at times.
Required PPE includes:
  • Safety glasses
  • Ear plugs
  • Flame-resistant (FR) jacket
  • Hard hat in designated areas

You'll primarily service PPE vending machines to ensure employees always have quick access to the safety products they need.
Why You'll Love Working at Mallory
Even as a part-time team member, you'll join a company that genuinely invests in its people.
  • Monday-Friday schedule - no nights or weekends
  • Flexible part-time hours (20-30 per week)
  • Independence and autonomy in your daily work
  • Opportunity to build strong customer relationships
  • Career growth opportunities within a growing company
  • Employee discounts and Mallory swag
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive, family-owned culture built around our Core Values

Ready to Make an Impact?
Hiring great people is the most important thing we do. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, enjoy working independently, and take pride in providing outstanding service, we'd love to have you join the Mallory team.
Apply today and help us keep America's workforce safe-one customer, one machine, and one day at a time.
