Job description

Good 2 Go Stores (G2G) is currently seeking an Co Leader.  In this role, the Co Leader will assist in the overall management of a retail store operation and act as a Customer Service Specialist frequently. 

G2G is a fast-growing C-store operation with nearly 60 sites in seven states.  The Company offers fuel from the nation’s top fuel brands and a variety of dining and take-out options.  G2G has experienced over 200% growth in the last three years! 

The Co Leader will primarily be focused on: 

Ensure company safety standards are followed and promoted. 

Train employees on spill clean-up, emergency stop of pumps, and other critical safety activities. 

Ensure store and grounds meet company expectations. 

Assist in resolution for customer complaints to meet company standards. 

Ensure store environment is customer friendly and inviting. 

In the absence of the Store Manager, direct daily activities of employees and ensure team has resources need to be successful. 

Train employees on customer service, cash handling, product movement, cleaning procedures, and other store duties. 

Close and balance registers and make deposits to banks as directed by Manager. 

Complete other required paperwork as directed. 

Act as clerk each shift including running register, stocking shelves, and assist in cleaning. 

Assist in inventory management processes as needed including stocking items, inventory counts, and product checks. 

Check for expired product, remove from distribution, and assist Manager in processing for credit. 

The preferred candidate for the Co Leader position will have the following: 

Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes. 

Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations 

Able to effectively multitask. 

Strong customer service focus. 

Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate team. 

High integrity and ethics and is trustworthy in cash management. 

Basic math skills for accurately delivering change to customers, and inventory counts.
