Job Summary
The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely transporting materials and products throughout Utah while supporting warehouse operations when not making deliveries.
This position performs regular delivery routes between Ogden and St. George, with occasional deliveries to Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience towing trailers, forklift experience, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
When not performing deliveries, this individual will assist with receiving, stocking, unloading, organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining an efficient warehouse environment.
.Job Summary: The Flatbed & Gooseneck Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsiblefor safely transporting materials and products using flatbed trucks andgooseneck trailers with loads up to 20,000 lbs. This position performs regulardelivery routes throughout Utah from Ogden to St. George and with occasionaldeliveries to Nevada while ensuring all materials are loaded, secured,transported, and delivered safely and accurately.
When not performing delivery duties, this position supports warehouseoperations, including receiving, stocking, inventory organization, materialhandling, and shipment preparation. This position must be safety-focused,dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of customer service,quality, and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential functions/duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties/functions may be added or assigned.
  • Safely operate flatbed trucks and gooseneck trailers transporting loads up to 20,000 lbs.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries throughout Utah, including regular routes between
    Ogden and St.George, with occasional deliveries to Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle and delivery records.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and secure cargo using approved equipment and securement methods.
  • Verify shipment accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and support general warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Safety Requirements:
  • Comply with all OSHA, and company safety policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
  • Attend scheduled safety training.
  • Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed safety goals and plans.
  • Recommend improved safety practices.
  • Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
  • Follow all fall protection requirements.
  • Adheres to and ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained.

Minimum Requirements: (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required. The list below represents the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of trailer hauling and towing experience.
  • Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
  • Experience operating flatbed trucks and gooseneck trailers preferred.
  • Knowledge of load securement practices and transportation safety requirements.
  • Ability to accurately complete delivery, inspection, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, customer service skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete employment eligibility verification requirements.

Physical Requirements - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Climb onto trailers to inspect and secure loads.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Safely operate trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Safely work around heavy materials, moving equipment, dust, noise, heat, and cold.
  • Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain proper work attire and hygiene standards.
