The Role:

A FriendShip Stocker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to guests by ensuring shelves, coolers and product displays are consistently stocked, organized and ready for guests. They have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage. Through a strong focus on Company standards, this role creates a store environment that's clean, welcoming and easy to shop.

Job Summary/Purpose:

The FriendShip Stocker role supports Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) by ensuring shelves, coolers, and product displays are consistently stocked, organized, and ready for guests. Through a strong focus on Clean and Bright Stores (CABS) standards, this role helps create a store environment that's clean, welcoming, and easy to shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock, rotate, and replenish shelves, coolers, freezers, and product displays so merchandise is available, easy to locate, and presentation-ready.
  • Organize backroom and sales-floor storage areas to support efficient stocking and product flow.
  • Support Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) by ensuring products are consistently available and the store is easy to shop.
  • Support Clean and Bright Stores (CABS) standards through daily cleaning tasks, including restrooms, floors, and trash removal inside and outside the store.
  • Receive and put away delivered merchandise following FriendShip standards and procedures.
  • Identify out-of-stocks, damaged product, or display issues and communicate them to Store Management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Treat coworkers and guests with respect, use positive language, and support teammates to maintain a productive, professional work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience following standard work procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic math and reading proficiency.
  • Clear communication skills to report product issues, safety concerns, or out-of-stocks to store leadership.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Required to complete Level 1 ServSafe Certification after hire; company support provided.

Preferred:

Prior experience stocking, organizing, or handling merchandise in a retail, grocery, convenience store, or similar environment.

Physical Demands and Environmental Condition:

Frequent:

  • Walking and standing for extended periods of time
  • Bending, stooping, climbing, squatting
  • Lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing and pulling carts, racks, or equipment
  • Using hands for stocking, cleaning, and handling merchandise
  • Working around store equipment and interacting with vendors and team members
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including indoor and outdoor weather conditions, coolers, and freezers
