Warehouse Associate Backup Bin Stock Driver - New Berlin

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin

Job type: Full time

License: Regular driver's license

Vehicle Type: Van

Schedule: 6:00am start time Monday-Friday

Hourly pay: $22.00/hr - $27.00/hr (Pay for experience)

Distance: Local deliveries - return home each night

What You'll Do

As a bin stocker, you will be responsible for driving a Viking Electric vehicle and replenishing specific stock at customer facilities in a manufacturing environment or at customer job sites. You will also be responsible for working in the warehouse performing physical and clerical duties involved in accurately receiving, storing, picking, checking, and shipping material.

Be the face, voice, and reputation of our company while delivery products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses

Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route

Transport and deliver products to customers with care

Unload product at customer site and place product in designated work cell or bin locations

Take inventory at customer site, create orders to replenish to customer min/max requirements

Communicate with sales associate through problem solving to meet customer needs

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Pick and pack orders to replace stock as required by customer

Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped

Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage

What You Bring

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
  • Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
  • Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred, but not required:

  • 1 year of related experience and/or training
  • 2 years electrical background, including warehousing, and/or electrical construction
