We are looking to hire for several locations within the Albuquerque Sunport which include:

Summary/Objective: “At Fresquez Companies, we empower the lives of people by providing authentic, impactful and exceptional experiences (one guest at a time.)" 

Stockers are responsible for general transportation and janitorial duties along with escorting vendors through security, general driving and transporting both inside the airport, as well as outside of the airport. Transferring goods between stores. The stocker is also responsible for making sure their designated areas are maintained while following TSA delivery compliance/regulations, Food and Health Regulations and Fresquez receiving procedures. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Picking up and throwing trash 
  • Must obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
  • Driving supplies into the airport, as well as out of the airport 
  • General transportation and janitorial duties 
  • Escorting vendors, guests, and repair crews through the airport. 
  • Picking up deliveries and having them checked by airport security 
  • Organize new inventory and ensure it is directed to correct location 
  • Responsible for unloading all products and items being brought to the dock by trucks 
  • Ensure product rotation, cleanliness and product quantities of each stock room 
  • Lift equipment and other heavy items in various areas when such task is required 
  • Be aware of all safety-related rules and regulations of airport TSA while entering, working or exiting the airport premises 
  • Ensure temperature guidelines for perishable food items 
  • Obtains a New Mexico alcohol certification
  • Spot check invoices for pricing and accuracy 
  • Stock inventory, items, and products 
  • Make sure stock labels are visible, readable and dated properly 
  • Operate machinery (forklifts, trucks, etc.) follow all safety procedures and pass proper classes as necessary 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 
  • Perform other job-related

Qualifications: 

  • Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members. 
  • Must have Valid Driver's License.  
  • Must be able to work unsupervised. 
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50-100 pounds . 
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). 
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel. 
  • Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.

Work Environment: 

This job operates inside a busy kitchen environment as well as outside surrounded by loud noises and airplanes. This role routinely uses Vehicles, and wheel barrows to transport garbage.

This position requires constant standing. All positions may require constant, frequent, or occasional: standing, walking, lifting, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. 

Noise level ranges from moderate to loud. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: 

This is an hourly position. Scheduled hours vary by restaurant needs, including necessary adjustments made during high and low seasonal changes. Typical days and hours of work for this position are Monday-Sunday 5am-10pm or later (varying shifts). Other days/hours and holidays required as needed or assigned. 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance: 

  1. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screening. 
  2. Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. 
  3. Satisfactory completion of a background check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). 

Language Ability: 

Ability to read, analyze, interpret general business rules and technical procedures.  

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and respond to questions from management and team members. 

Other (Secondary) Responsibilities: 

Assist with other restaurant functions including other assigned duties as needed. Must be able to fill in as needed.
