Job description

Do you dream of fondant or espresso? Can you think of a baker's dozen things to do with flour, sugar, eggs and water? Join our bakery team for an opportunity to advance in your bakery career to become a baker or cake decorator. Positions start at $19.00/hour up to $20.50/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $23.00/hour.

DESCRIPTION

Market of Choice employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Our bakeries include something for every occasion and every taste, from cakes to doughnuts to bagels. Market bakeries provide homemade baked goods for busy people who crave both freshness and convenience. Bakery staff must be motivated, able to embrace a team environment and have effective communication skills. Expect a high-energy, team-oriented environment where you will accurately prepare customer orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
No experience necessary, we will train you!


DUTIES
As a Bakery Clerk / Barista, you will assist customers in selection & recommendations of our delicious products.
Some of your duties will also include:

  • Accurately prepare a variety of espresso & coffee drinks per customer request
  • Stock, market, & sell pastries, coffee cakes, etc.
  • Cashiering duties
