The Warehouse Receiver/Driver's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive merchandise and invoices from deliveries. Verify invoice matches merchandise received. Accurately record information on recap sheet with neat handwriting. Make copies and distribution to ICS and Store Manager.
  • Immediately notify the supervisor of all discrepancies and damaged merchandise.
  • Store items in established storage methods, and stock location based on turnover and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Immediately notify the supervisor of any merchandise damaged during the storage or delivery of merchandise to the store.
  • Deliver merchandise to stores and assists with loading truck.

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as a team within the scope of established rules and regulations.
  • Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do a job.
  • Ability to conduct inspections of equipment to evaluate if equipment is in proper working order.
  • Ability to lift, lower and carry items that typically weigh 25 - 50 pounds varying distances.
  • Able to see and hear well enough to perform the duties as specified in this job description
  • Shall have a driver’s license to drive delivery truck.
  • Shall successfully complete all pre-employment screening.
