Job description

JOB PURPOSE:
The Material Handler assists the Warehouse Manager in conducting the day to day operation for the Medical Supply warehouse. The material handler will work closely with customer service, completing and verifying orders and shipments. The material handler will also communicate with inventory control to maintain inventory levels as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
2. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
3. Maintains in-process inventory at warehouse by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
4. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording items delivered and location of deliveries.
5. Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and quantity; placing materials in stock.
6. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product.
7. Documents product shipment as directed.
8. Supports Warehouse Manager to plan, prioritizes and complete project
9. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
10.Maintains warehouse as a organized and safe environment.
11.Adheres to all safety policies and concerns.
12.Follows all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations and charged with reporting violations to the appropriate supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1+ year working in a warehouse environment
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
Medical supply experience preferred
