Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and deliver tire loads to other Southern Tire Mart locations and wholesale customers.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties related to tire loads.
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, vehicle logs, and safety documentation.
  • Keep up with necessary certifications required for driving and safety compliance.
  • Conduct and update vehicle maintenance and safety inspection sheets daily.
  • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and traffic laws.
  • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Load and unload tire shipments as required.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.

Skills / Education / Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Prior delivery, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy tires safely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
