Job description

Job Summary:
Stitch Fix is redefining retail by combining human creativity with advanced data science and Generative AI. The Senior Product Manager for Financial Systems will shape the product vision and roadmap for critical financial applications, driving initiatives that automate financial processes and enhance data quality.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a diverse portfolio of financial systems and processes enabling Financial Transaction Processing, Data, and Reporting & Analytics.
• Drive Business Impact: Identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases based on relevant data, and define clear goals (OKRs) for initiatives that automate processes, deepen insights and support strategic business objectives.
• AI and Financial Process Modernization: Champion the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to revolutionize financial processes, including discovery of innovative opportunities to enhance financial data analysis, automate workflows for greater efficiency, and leverage machine learning to generate deeper, more actionable insights
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with key stakeholders across Finance (Accounting, FP&A), Merchandising, Technology, Strategy and Business Operations to understand complex business problems and pain points, facilitate design discussions, and secure alignment on solutions.
• End-to-End Execution: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, articulate use cases, and drive successful execution and delivery of high-impact product experiences.
• Data Integrity & Scalability: Serve as the ultimate Product Owner for financial data, ensuring core application data models are optimized for our downstream reporting platforms and the development of resilient and scalable financial architectures.
• Communication & Influence: Effectively communicate the product roadmap, vision, and progress to all stakeholders, from project teams to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of product management experience in financial consulting, accounting, finance, or similar roles, specifically focused on supporting or managing financial systems applications.
• Functional expertise in Financial and ERP processes and Retail and Supply Chain applications.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes, including accounting practices, monthly close, financial reporting and forecasting, Merchandise Planning, and SOX controls.
• Passionate about automating business processes, innovating with AI solutions and integrating financial systems with broader enterprise applications.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts, with experience translating complex financial requirements into technical product strategies that deliver accurate and reliable data.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate design and end-to-end process analysis, align diverse stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity.
• Strategic and data-driven thinker capable of quickly grasping complex financial, business, and technical concepts and articulating the story to influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IT/computer science, or a related field.
Preferred:
• MBA preferred.
• Merch Planning and eCommerce experience is strongly preferred.
