Job description

A leading waste and recycling operation is seeking experienced Welders to repair, maintain, and fabricate steel and aluminum components for containers, trucks, and related equipment. This role offers a mix of fabrication, repair, and maintenance work within a shop environment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG, Stick, TIG, and Arc welding
* Fabricate and repair steel and aluminum components
* Cut materials using plasma cutters and torches
* Repair containers, truck bodies, rails, floors, and structural components
* Grind and finish welds
* Install wheels, lids, and related hardware
* Paint repaired equipment and containers as needed
* Complete work orders and documentation
* Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of welding and fabrication experience
* MIG and Stick welding experience required
* Experience welding steel and aluminum
* Experience with fabrication, plasma cutting, and metal repairs
* Ability to read and follow work instructions
* Experience with painting, container repair, or maintenance work is a plus
* Experience operating yellow iron equipment is a plus
