Job description

Job Summary

The Stick Pack Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining stick pack packaging equipment used in production. This role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality packaging in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong understanding of packaging equipment, and the ability to manage line personnel while maintaining adherence to quality, safety, and production efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of direct experience in stick pack manufacturing and be willing to be cross-trained in powder processing operations to support broader plant objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust stick pack packaging machines for products
  • Monitor machine performance and product output to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment
  • Conduct in-process quality checks (weight, seal integrity, labeling accuracy, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety protocols
  • Accurately complete production logs, batch records, and downtime reports
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Assist with changeovers, line clearance, and start-up/shutdown procedures
