Job Summary:
STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide essential technical support. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting clients and vendors, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Provides escalation support and incoming tickets assistance for the service delivery team as needed and based on availability
• Answers calls as needed and interacts with clients and vendors
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide array of technical issues
• Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders
• Develops and maintain documentation for procedures
• Assists other departments with additional tasks as needed
• Participate in a rotation based on call schedule
Qualifications:
Required:
• Background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis
• Experience with Windows PC and Server operating systems
• Proven working experience in Microsoft and other enterprise-grade products and services such as Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and similar platforms
• Familiarity with cloud systems such as Microsoft Azure
• Experience with servicing Firewalls
• Networking knowledge (OSI networks layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort working with all levels of an organization.
