Sterling Medical is seeking a full-time Medical Support Assistant to provide services at the Helena VA Medical Center. Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“4:30 PM (excluding federal holidays) Position Overview The Medical Support Assistant will provide administrative and scheduling support while delivering exceptional customer service to Veterans, families, providers, and VA staff. Key Responsibilities -Support the scheduling and reception team while maintaining excellent customer service standards. -Coordinate Veteran care with community providers when services are unavailable -Process and manage community care consults using HSRM, PPMS, and other applicable systems. -Maintain and update patient demographic and medical information Schedule appointments and complete pre- and post-appointment follow-ups. -Respond to phone calls and patient inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. -Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. -Ensure all patient communications are completed accurately and on time.
